Ling Er liked the bracelet very much. She looked at Di Fuyi with hopeful eyes. Di Fuyi gave Gu Xijiu a quick glance before answering, “Accept the gift. Mighty Immortal Gu has the habit of giving out bracelets as gifts. I have one from her, too.” Delighted, Jing Ling Er thanked her before putting the bracelet on her wrist.

Everyone in the hall clearly saw the interaction. They stood gazing at one another, obviously stunned by the trio. All the doubts that they had about Gu Xijiu were gone.

Did he think no more of Gu Xijiu, because he was only a target of her mission? They could all tell that Jing Ling Er was incomparable to Gu Xijiu.

The Emperor Immortal noticed the awkwardness that floated in the air, so he resumed the celebration. “It is a rare occasion to have everyone here today. As a celebration, we should all indulge in our drinks as much as we can!”

Ling Er had a peach in her hand, but they had to leave before she could enjoy it. She was obviously reluctant to part, but she still obeyed Di Fuyi and followed him quietly. Walking together, they looked happy.

Jing Er was a cheerful and lively girl. She looked just like a child by Di Fuyi's side.
