Chapter 1 – Isekai


It was a forest that’s different from your normal one.
The dark green scenery seems like an illusion so real that you can feel the taste of the air.

Within it, a man and a woman stared at each other with confusion.

The two of them are childhood friends who lived next door to each other while attending the same school and studying in the same cla.s.s.
They have pa.s.sed the previous new year holiday without making any progress, and then while they’re on their way to school, they found themselves in this forest.

We saw lot of unbelievable sight after all, both of us had no other choice except to accept the strange reality.

It took some time for the both of us to calm down.

First we need to find some kind of landmark, then start to move slowly.


“Do you have bento ?”
After Shin asked, Yuri take out a large box from her bag like it was normal.
put the empty box on Yuri’s desk and said ‘Can I rely on you again tomorrow ?’, stunning Yuri and all of his cla.s.smates. From that time, making a bento every morning become a secret bridal training for Yuri.


“With all this heat, it’s going to get bad fast, we should it eat sooner.

They were checking their luggage while paying attention to the surrounding.
The smart phone doesn’t have signal as expected, I pull the battery out and put it in the bag just in case.
Both of them then start to walks.


“Even if we found a river, I’m not sure we can drink the water”
Parasites and bacteria are dangerous, but we’re in a situation where we can’t boil the water or filtrate it. If we finished the water in Yuri’s drinking bottle, we have to be prepared to drink raw water.


While mulling over the situation, both of them reached a river and then sat down like they’re about to collapse.

They washed their face in the river and begin to eat their bento.


“Should we follow the ridge toward the mountain ?”

After some thought, he reached that conclusion.
He thought that his idea was haphazard, but there was no other choice.

Yuri then poured a hot tea into a cup.

I replied the depressed Yuri with casual remark, I feel strangely calm myself.


“Hey… Shin-chan. I’m glad you’re here with me.
“Me too, I can’t imagine what I’m going to do If I’m alone in here”


In the original world, Both of us might be considered missing or spirited away.
Shin convinced himself with that thinking.


He was looking at the gently flowing river so Yuri can’t see his slightly red face.
“Yes…”
Shin hoped he reduced Yuri’s burden with those words.


Yuri then quietly tapped Shin on his shoulder.
“Th-that”


Yuri voice were trembling when she spoke to Shin.
“Wh-Wha-”
Also, the size of the boar is unnatural, Its large body was taller than Shin even while standing on four feet. The creature hit the ground with its hind legs while staring at Shin and Yuri.
At the same time Shin yelled, the boar rushed at them.

As the boar gradually comes closer, Shin stood up and embraced Yuri.

The bags and bento left behind was trampled by the charging boar and tossed into the river.

When Shin looked at the boar that just charged past him, there was a shower of water from the river dropped on his body. The flow of time has returned to normal.


“Shi, Shin-chan?”
While being held by Shin, Yuri raises her voice.

Shin stares at the boar in front of him and asked her a question.

While embracing her vulnerable body, Shin noticed the boar has returned to face him again.

When the number reaches 12, the boar stopped it’s movement.


“Was that…magic”
Shin realizes the situation has turned for the worse.

Shin hugged Yuri strongly and turn his back to the boar, trying to protect her from the ice spear.

He closed his eyes and hears a small cry from the boar behind him as if it was ridiculing him.


“Seems like I barely made it in time”

In front of him, there was a beautiful woman holding a bow.
