Jason has already asked Maya to meet him outside the royal palace, he had woke up very early and is now currently walking towards the palace, he didn't take his private taxi as he didn't trust that young man, he might even spy on him during Jason's time roaming around the palace and trying to find something.Jason, when arrived in front of the huge royal palace, saw many people hanging out here, all the ancient buildings and monuments that are said to be still standing after thousands of years.Jason speculated that these are still standing because of the power source that Bran mentioned to him yesterday.After waiting for a while as he looked at the palace, he noticed Maya running towards him."Mr. Jason, sorry, I am late""No problem, I see you brought your camera?""Yes, it's not my main camera, but it still does the work and it doesn't have a picture that might indicate I am a Journalist""Hmm, Ok, now listen carefully, you have to walk around the palace, click photos and act like an over-excited tourist who is fascinated by the royal palaces, as you collect all the pictures, you will also act as a distraction for me to walk around the palace without being watched"Jason explained to her that she needs to act as a distraction and grab all the guards attention on herself."Leave it to me, Mr. Jason, I will take care of it"Maya said with determination."Good, now let's go our separate ways, you know what to do"Jason said."I know"After this Jason walked towards the Royal Palace, even though the king and princesses still live here, the palace is one of the public attraction and people can come and visit the palace, people who are very rich can get a royal treatment and a chance to dine with the Princesses and the King.Jason walked into the Palace, he saw many people are entering with him, he noticed the walls of this palace is actually made of white marble, he saw decoration made of pure gold on the walls and rare and precious stones in the middle."Talk about spending money, whoever was the king who built this palace was a prodigal"Jason said and walked further, he noticed a strange aura in the palace, it seemed some kind of energy is floating around the whole palace, the source seems to come from underground.'IS the power source the reason behind this aura?'Jason questioned and walked further, he then noticed some very old paintings that are well preserved and dates back to 1500 years, they are the paintings of kings and queens of those time, after looking around for a while he didn't notice that he has pa.s.sed through the restricted area as there was no one to warn him.The thing is Maya is doing a great job of being a distraction, she started to act like crazy and take photos of even things that were not allowed to, the security and the guards around the palace had to go and calm her down.
Jason didn't expect Maya to do such a great job.After Jason entered the inner parts of the palace he noticed the aura has completely changed, it has a very cold and unpleasant vibe, Jason looked at the humongous paintings of kings that date back to more than 2000-3000 years old.The more Jason looks at them the more fascinated he is.'How many years have this royal family ruled this city, they all seem to be from the same family, they seem to have won every war they partic.i.p.ated in as well, these paintings are at least 2000-3000 years old but they are still preserved and don't seem to have any defect in them'If even one of these paintings get outside this palace and auctioned outside, it would fetch millions of Gs.Jason finally came to the end of the painting display, a gigantic hall and as soon as he entered the hall he saw one last painting, it is huge, this painting alone seems to date above 5000 years old.Jason saw the man in the painting and was impressed, like other kings he saw until now they were nothing like this man, the man in the painting seems to be in his late twenties, has red fierce eyes, long white hair, he is holding a long sword in his right hand, and in his left hand he held the head that is shaped like a demon, longhorns, sharp fangs, dark eyes. His sword seemed to have a hue of blue shine on its blade.Jason carefully looked at the cut down head in the man's hand, no matter how he looked at it, it is clearly a demon's head, he doesn't know if this painting in front of him tells a story or not but if he encounters a being like the one in the picture he won't be surprised.He went closer to the Painting and stood in front of it, he was as small as an ant compared to the size of this painting."Who in the world painted this thing""It was painted by the greatest painter during the time of Emperor Arther rule, the person on that painting is Emperor Arther, the greatest emperor to ever put his feet in this world"Jason heard a female voice from behind, he turned around and saw a very beautiful woman walking down the huge stairs which are covered by an extremely expensive red carpet.The woman walked towards him and stood in front of him, she looked up to stare in his eyes and smiled."Who are you?"She asked."Me?
