Hacking Eden

the year is 2048 and I go by the name RedSparrow. I have a regular name, but in my circle we tend to just go by our online names, and in my circle we all tend to be hackers. sure there are a few crazy people who in our group who try to hack into the cloud and steal missile codes for North Korea or hack satellites, but for the most part we just tend to live our daily lives and have some fun in the process. for instance I've recently went to the vma's and hung out with lady G, not gonna lie it was a pretty epic night. but recently I've been a little.... well bored. there isnt anything you cant get with a few keystrokes, at least when they are my keystroke. but there has been talk recently of this new game coming out next year and its ran by a quantum computer, and supposedly its unhackable, well when I hear that all I can think is Challenge Accepted!. so I sat in front of my system and got to work. it's actually a pretty sweet set up, with the latest tech and a few components that I designed myself. for instance my VR head gear. it basically converts my thoughts into keystrokes, and sends my conscience into cybers.p.a.ce in the form of my avatar which is a blood red sparrow. it saves on time and I dont get carpal tunnel, just a small headache from prolonged use. I slipped on my head gear and dove into that familiar virtual world that is my second home. when my eyes opened i saw the aquamarine virtual screen and was soon a.s.saulted with DMs from the circle of people I was talking about earlier. mainly 3 people really, one is my best friend FriedThunder, we met early on when we were both hired by a private firm to hack into a compet.i.tor system for some kind of secret Intel needless to say between the two of us we got the job done in record time and walked away with a pretty hefty payday in the end. the second is another friend called SoftCode. she is one if the few girl hackers I have ever met and she is just as good as me when it comes to hacking. maybe better than me even. not that I would admit that to her, because if I did I would never hear the end if it. and the final person is my self proclaimed protege BabySparrow. which try as I might I cant seem to get rid of this kid no matter what I try, so i just let him be and answer what ever question he has about code that he can dream up. I click on the icon of a chicken leg with a lightning bolt behind it and say
"hey fried what's going on"
I hear FriedThunder Huff indignantly and say
"red have you heard about this new game that supposedly unhackable called Garden of Eden?"
I laugh and say " of course I've heard of it, why do you think I'm online today? it's been a while since there has been a good challenge. and a quantum computer just might put up a bit of a fight"
"ha ha I knew you couldn't avoid a good challenge! let this brother here help you in slaying this demon just think we could go down in history as the greatest hackers in history when we hack the unhackable"

"I could always use the help, and when we hack in we can get the best gear for ourselves and start playing almost a year before everyone else"
all of a sudden a DM from SoftCode and BabySparrow asking to join the chat group
"hey fried im inviting soft and baby into the chat, so please behave yourself"
with a hurt sound in his voice fried said "i am always on my best behavior brother red. a complete gentleman"
i snort and say "didnt you say something vulgar to soft last time and she crashed your system for almost a month?"
"yes" fried replied meekly "why do you think I'm on my best behavior when sister soft is around?"
I laugh and click on the icon of a white rabbit with blue eyes and a red egg. all of a sudden the voices and avatars of SoftCode and BabySparrow appear in the chat. BabySparrow was the first to talk and asked
"Master are you going to crack garden of eden?"
exasperated I replied "ugh... yes baby I'm going to hack the game, I cant in good conscience leave a challenge like that unanswered"
BabySparrow said "master let me help! I have a new algorithm I just wrote, it will help break the firewall and watch out for reverse Hacking"
after a moment of thought I say "ok you can help, but only on guard duty, this is a quantum computer were talking about hacking. and we cant keep eyes on you while fight this thing"
a sweet voice came over the chat and said "well if the kid and FriedChicken are coming then I'm definately coming after all you will need at least one competent helper."
"hey" FriedThunder yelled "my brother Red and I took down that little island in the Pacific with just few strokes of our swords."
angrily SoftCode said "look you D&D maniac it was a very small island. and if I remember correctly RedSparrow did pretty much all the work, you...."
and before the argument could progress any further I say "look all of you can help, again it's a quantum computer so the more hands on deck the better. if you arnt already using them I suggest that you put on the VR head gear I gave you all we will need all the advantage we can get, and thinking is much faster than actual typing"
after a slew of complaints and curses about head aches, and "helmet head" they all conected their head gear, and after a few adjustments we were soon heading down the rabbit hole to find Garden of Eden.
